In the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, diagnosis and surgical treatments of all kinds of problems of all soft tissues in the mouth (tongue, cheek, lip, salivary glands, etc.), teeth, jaws, and temporomandibular joint are performed. Among these applications;
- Extraction/maintenance of erupted or impacted teeth,
- Dental implant applications and necessary advanced surgical procedures,
- Surgical arrangement of soft and hard tissues before prosthesis treatment,
- Diagnosis and treatment of cystic or tumoral structures in the jaws,
- Treatment of infections in the maxillofacial region,
- Treatment of tooth and jaw fractures,
- Diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint diseases,
- Surgical treatment of maxillary and mandibular bone fractures.
Applying the treatment that our patients will benefit most in terms of general and oral health forms the basis of our service approach. As the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, our primary goal is to provide our patients with the highest level of comfort before and after treatment and to teach our students about surgical ethics with evidence-based, up-to-date information.
